Your wedding day makeup, whilst looking natural, will be applied slightly darker than you are used to.
Your makeup needs to be able to show up in photos which quite often can make you look pale (flash photography and especially black and white photography).
If you take a look at the photos on my website, you’ll see how natural my brides look (unless they’ve opted for a more smokey look).
The key to fab looking makeup is definitely having hydrated skin. Makeup and dry skin are not friends and it’s very hard to make dry skin look good.
Makeup should blend into your skin to become one, not sit on top of it which often happens with dry dehydrated skin.
So here’s a few tips from me for getting your skin ready for your big day:
